We are very glad to have her at MGA. She’s great.

She told us that your HR warned her not to solicit anyone at Mattel?

On what bases? Please explain.

I’m sure you know the law ( or may be you need to take a refreshers? ) in California.

And, for the record, after 40 years in the toy business, I know most people
in toy business or they know me and those we don’t are all on LinkedIn.

I am just putting you and your boss ( Ynon ) on notice that if you play any
of your nonsense games and intimidation of employees ( as you did before) we are coming after you.

And please say Hi to Janet Han.

I didn’t hear back from you?

We intent to solicit and hire people from Mattel.

Let me know if Mattel is retracting your baseless intimidation and threats
to interfere with at will employee movement or should we bring a dec relief action against Mattel?

We like to know your written position by this Friday at 1 pm please.

In response to your emails below, Mattel has no intention of prohibiting

its former California employees from soliciting Mattel employees to work
elsewhere, just as Mattel is similarly free to recruit such California
employees from MGA. We welcome fair competition with MGA with respect to
the hiring of the best people in the industry. We do expect, however, that
MGA will not access or use any of Mattel’s trade secrets or induce any
Mattel employees to disclose Mattel trade secrets. We, of course, will do
the same.

We want NOTHING from Mattel expect its good people with their brain.
Frankly, there’s nothing at Mattel of interest.

What happened with the whistle blower by the way?

Have a good weekend.
